The YesJob Win £10,000 Prize Draw
Terms and Conditions
1. This competition is open to all residents of the UK who are bone fide businesses and who are aged 18 or over, excluding Channel Islands and the Isle of Man residents, the promoter’s employees, anyone connected with the competition and their close relatives. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.
2. Prior to participation in the competition you should obtain the express permission of your employer (if relevant) before to taking part. Written confirmation may be requested at the discretion of the promoter.
3. Entry to the competition is by registering on the YesJob website (“Website”) and paying the requested subscription fees, in accordance with the Website’s Members Terms and Conditions.
4. The competition will start on 26th May 2010 and will close when we have received 1,000 newly registered PAYING members only or 03/01/2011 whichever is the later. Previously registered members do not qualify.
5. Entrants should be aware that the competition may be promoted on the Website, on the local radio, media and publications.
6. 1,000 entries to our prize draw will be allocated to the first 1,000 newly registered, paying members of the Website only. Prize draw entries will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and only one entry will be awarded per member, per business/company.
7. The winners of the competition shall be drawn within 14 days of the closing date of the competition and the first prize winner will be the first eligible registered member randomly selected (under the supervision of an independent third party) from all of the entries. The runner’s up shall be the second and third eligible registered member randomly selected from all of the valid entries.
8. The first prize winner will be notified by email or telephone within 7 days of the prize draw date and the first prize winner will have 14 days to claim their prize. If the promoter is unable to contact the first prize winner by phone/email after reasonable attempts have been made, the promoter reserves the right to offer the first prize to a runner up or re-award the prize as it thinks fit.
9. The first prize consists of: (i) £10,000.00 payable to the director/sole trader of the winning company. (ii) 2 x Runner up prizes for 1 year’s free subscription to the Website, to the value of £239.80.
10. The first prize of £10,000.00 will be awarded to the winner by cheque, which must be collected by the winner within 14 days of the first prize winner claiming their prize. The runners up prizes will be credited to the relevant registered member’s accounts within 14 days of the draw date.
11. The first prize winner will be required to provide 2 legal forms of identity for him/her and/or the business that is registered on the Website.
12. The promoter is not responsible for any other costs other than the prizes themselves and will not accept liability for any accidents/damages/losses traveling to collect the prizes.
13. The prizes are as stated. There is no cash or other alternative and the prizes cannot be sold or transferred under any circumstances.
14. The promoter’s decisions as to the winners are final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
15. The winners agree to take part in reasonable post competition publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
16. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries that breach these rules or are in any way fraudulent or inaudible. The promoter also reserves the right to amend, alter, cancel or terminate this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside its control. The maximum number of entries for each new paying business registered on the Website is 1 throughout the competition period.
17. The promoter, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with the Website, any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any entry being lost or not properly registered or recorded.
18. The promoter will only ever use personal details of the entrants for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission (subject to clause 15). You can read more about our Privacy Policy here.
19. By entering the prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
20. To obtain the name and county of the winners please email info@yesjob.co.uk stating the name of the prize draws in the subject heading.
21. Any income tax or other taxes due on receipt of the prizes are the responsibility of the winner(s) and participants should consult their tax advisors as appropriate.
22. These rules are governed by English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
